Our pasture-raised Picnic Roast is richly marbled with deep, savory flavor that shines with low and slow cooking. Whether roasted in the oven, braised for hours, or smoked over wood or charcoal, this cut becomes incredibly tender and flavorful, making it perfect for pulled pork, comforting family meals, or weekend gatherings.

Raised on open pasture, our pigs are rotated regularly onto fresh ground where they can root for acorns, roam, and live naturally. Their diet is supplemented with a custom non-GMO feed free from corn, soy, and seed oils, resulting in pork with clean flavor, beautiful fat quality, and exceptional texture.

This is the kind of roast that fills the kitchen with incredible aroma and rewards patience with tender, fall-apart pork that’s as satisfying as it is versatile.

Nutrition Information

Our pastured pork has significantly higher levels of vitamins E and D, less saturated fat and more heart-healthy polyunsaturated fats than commercially raised pork. Because our hogs are more active and have more room to range and wallow, our pork has higher levels of protein for essential muscle support.

Regenerative Farming

As a philosophy and approach to land management, regenerative agriculture asks us to think about how all aspects of agriculture are connected through a web—a network of entities who grow, enhance, exchange, distribute, and consume goods and services—instead of a linear supply chain. It’s about farming and ranching in a style that nourishes people and the earth, with specific practices varying from grower to grower and from region to region.

Our Values

We are allowing nature to inform the way we farm. We rotate our herds of livestock to new pastures daily allowing our cows, pigs, sheep, and chickens to graze and forage for their species’ appropriate diets. This enriches the soil and promotes plant growth, by stimulating grasses and other natural plants to develop deeper root structures, leading to better water absorption, biome production, and more carbon capture.
