Farm Technician
We are looking for a skilled, experienced farm technician to work alongside our Program Leads and support daily operations across a 1,500-acre regenerative farm in Crestview, FL. This role is ideal for someone who has worked on a farm or in a similar hands-on environment and can step in with confidence.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, nutrient-dense food while regenerating the land at the deepest level. Our cows, pigs, sheep, and poultry are raised on open pasture and moved frequently, creating a rich, biodiverse environment for plants, wildlife, insects, and pollinators.
We are a small, committed team and you will be part of all aspects of the operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on beautiful land with a team of like-minded individuals.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Care for and move cattle, chickens, pigs, and sheep including feeding, loading, hauling, and daily livestock management
- Build and repair fencing for rotational grazing and pasture management
- Assist with general farm infrastructure: water systems, roads, buildings, and landscape maintenance
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including tractors, skid steers, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs
Requirements:
- Experience with animal husbandry and daily livestock care
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work with carpenter's tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must have a valid driver's license
Compensation: Wages will be determined based on experience and skill. Housing potentially available.
