REGENERATIVE
The Biggest Impacts of Regenerative Agriculture
Carbon sequestration.
-
"The net result of beef raised using Regenerative Practices is a carbon footprint 111% lower than a conventional US beef system.”

Revitalizing soil and biodiversity.
- Regenerative agriculture leads to healthy soil, capable of producing high quality, nutrient-dense food while simultaneously improving, rather than degrading land. This leads to productive farms and healthy communities. “Richer and more diverse plant life returning to the farm and ranch [are] all signs of ecosystems returning to health.”

Improving water retention.
- Regenerative agricultural practices increase and maintain soil organic matter. The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service states that “for every 1% increase in soil organic matter, US cropland could store the amount of water that flows over Niagara Falls in 150 days, and that increasing soil organic matter is key to improving soil health.”

Wildfire reduction.
- Studies show the removal of livestock grazing can lead to increases in fuel loads for wildfires. Regenerative farming practices prevent wildfires by increasing organic matter and moisture levels in the soil.
